Tayammum (Dry Ablution) Large

Tayammum is a form of dry ablution in Islamic practice, performed when water is unavailable, or its use is harmful due to illness, travel, or other valid reasons. It serves as an alternative to the regular ablution (Wudu) or Ghusl, allowing one to purify themselves for acts of worship.

Steps for performing Tayammum:

1. Intention (Niyyah): The individual makes an intention in their heart to purify themselves for the sake of Allah.

2. Striking the Ground or Clean Surface: The person strikes both hands lightly on a clean surface (earth, dust, or something similar).

3. Wiping the Face: The hands are used to wipe the face once.

4. Wiping the Arms: The individual then wipes both hands up to the elbows to complete the Tayammum.

Tayammum symbolizes spiritual purity when water cannot be used, enabling the person to perform acts of worship, such as Salah (prayer).
